SPRINT WITH US

Founders build it. Investors back it.
Experts
sharpen it.

WIP gives each role a clear place inside the sprint. So hard problems move from intent to something real.

What is Studio WIP ?

An impact venture studio built around one simple discipline: build close enough to reality so the proof can talk back.

Sprints with organisations that take impact seriously.

From early stage startups to global institutions , WIP works with those closest to the problem and closest to the change.

Believe the evidence. Not the process

A sprint is only successful when something changes in the real world. And thats what the evidence proves.

See Ventures Shaped by WIP

Bring the problem. We’ll find the proof.

We work with founders from sharp ideas to product scale-up, always anchored in measurable change.

Start With a Sprint

The Sprint Model

One constraint. Four phases. A clear decision at the end.

Locate

We find the real constraint: user behaviour, field context, operating friction, and the outcome worth measuring.

Decision gate

Are we solving a problem that matters enough to build?

Shape

WIP brings the expertise you do not have yet - product, design, engineering, research, and domain knowledge; through our partner network. You make the decisions. We build what needs to be tested.

Decision gate

Are we still solving the right problem?

Confront

You put it in front of real users in real context. WIP sets up feedback loops and impact measurement so you capture what actually matters, not just opinions.

Decision gate

Is it shifting behaviour in the real world?

Resolve

What changed? You leave with evidence you can take to investors, partners, or your next sprint.

Decision gate

What worked, what failed, and what happens next?

The Sprint Model

One constraint. Four phases. A clear decision at the end.

Locate

We strip away the noise to find the uncertainty that matters the most.

Decision gate

What must be true for this to move forward?

Shape

We make the assumptions testable by building the smallest artefact.

Decision gate

What needs to be made real to test?

Confront

We put the artefact against reality to see the validation evidence.

Decision gate

What changed when it met the real world?

Resolve

We turn the learning into a decision of what should be tested next.

Decision gate

What is the evidence telling us to do next?

Translated 200+ hours of user interviews into an MCP, refined through four rounds of testing with people closest to the problem.

Tools for neurodivergent users that are intended to improve their mental health can only be built effectively from lived experience. From a broad scope of research, to identifying the most urgent need that the product can address this project evolved to finally building its first minimum capable product in 1 month.

50+ values inventory of the organization mapped and verified against evidence

The sprint consolidated organisation's 50+ activities into a bounded ecosystem view. The sprint mapped stakeholders, value channels, operating realities and pressure points while separating current, emerging and exploratory work. It concluded with three priority areas for deeper verification rather than presenting an untested strategy.

The sprint translated a broad circularity ambition into a testable circularity tool. Working with energy giant, the team structured component data, user needs and reuse prompts into Rewind: an interactive digital warehouse where designers, builders and innovators can browse decommissioned turbine parts, understand specifications and propose new applications. The Dutch Design Week prototype used guided AI ideation and visualisation to test whether better access and imagination could expand viable reuse pathways.

Support Architecture

Europe

Support architecture increased success of the next step for each invested venture by 2x

The engagement examined how Fund's in kind support is framed, sequenced and made visible. It separated founder recognition from each venture’s next-stage questions and developed a diagnostic-first route: understand the founder’s current threshold before deciding whether deeper support is appropriate. This created a working basis for future support without fixing one intervention or measurement model for every founder.

Material-Market fit

Europe

81 researched markets translated to 35 contacts and 3 material pilots.

Starting with surplus cow dung as an underused dairy-industry resource, the sprint combined indigenous-material research, scientific experimentation and proposition development. The team tested 16 composite directions, clarified priority applications and built an evidence base for materials that could replace wood, particle board and plastic. The work moved the venture from a material hypothesis toward research partnerships, validated development pathways and a fundable roadmap.
